Meet Chester
Meet Chester! He is going to be my Diabetic Alert dog. We saw that he had the potential while we were watching him for my cousin Madison. He started going over by our other dog Oliver who is currently struggling with end stage congestive heart failure he was licking his face and spinning around right before Oliver passed out at first we thought he was causing him to pass out and then we realized he was predicting that he was going to pass out; then he moved on to scenting my low blood sugars randomly. Initially we thought it was a coincidental but then he did it again and we realized he was trying to tell me something was wrong. Chester soon started to kind of become attached to me thinking of me as his person; following me around and being a “Velcro dog” a term used for dogs who need constant attention and affection. Chester since then has started coming in stores, library’s, and started basic manner training. He is doing a fantastic job. He is going in stores like a pro, no bar...
